transportation department reports the number of delays on the tarmac were up during the month of july. and ddot says 28 planes were stuck on the ground for more than three hours. complaints from passengers were up in july as well. the agency says it received nearly 2500 of them and that is up 50% from june. airlines can be fined nearly $28,000 per passenger if a flight is stuck on the tarmac for more than three hours. mcdonald's is serving up more than fries. the chain debuted its mcnoodles on the menu. the asian inspired dish comes with vegetables, salad, and chicken. the company says noodles are popular in austria where it has vegetarian only restaurants. some merchants don't want to deal with groupon. 1/3 of 100 merchants say they don't plan to do business with the daily deal internet company again. investors are worried that demand for the deals isn't as strong as it was before. groupon shares fell 7% after those survey results were released. it lost 2/3 of its value since going public last year. >>> 30 million, that is the number of computers people get rid of each year and it's highe

progress in reducing airport delays on tarmacs. if caught in a delay, you have rights as a passenger. >> we do? >> yes. >> that brings us to today's road warrior segment. the transportation of department says fines nearly eliminated lengthy tarmac delays, however, but they still do happen. we do know that. and if you're unlucky enough to experience one, what can you do? >> know your rights. they must give you food and drinking water within two hours of the delay. plus, they have to keep cab tin temperatures comfortable and the bathrooms operating. they also have to give you status updates at least every 40 minutes and tell you if you can leave the plane. >> power up your ipad, bring reading material and a fully charged phone. also bring food. i like to bring healthy food along. almonds are always great. if you're on a flight and suspect they aren't complying with tarmac rules, you can call or e-mail the department of transportation. it might not help you right now, but they may help you later. they may not immediately be able to fix that problem. >> and you feel better when you complain. >>

place. so i went to the airport. we drove on the tarmac. this u.s. air jet came in and all the passengers got off the aircraft and all the luggage came down the conveyer, and, finally, a casket appeared. i was brought down the conveyer. i put my hand over my heart. the state troopers would were there with me, they all went to attention and saluted and, of course, the members of the armed forces who received the casket stood at attention and saluted. i glanced up at the terminal, the u.s. air terminal there, a big glass window, a big wall this at the terminal, where the people who had gotten off the airplane, they saw the police out there, wonderd what was going on and they were lined up against the glass. all the people walking down the halls they saw the people lined up against the glass and they crowded up to see what was going on, as i looked up there every single person i saw had their hand over their heart. we are a patriotic nation. we love this country. we love the men and women who serve in this country. we face real challenges and i want to talk about some of the chall
